3 LESSONS ABOUT MELBOURNE
- The CBD is as bustling as ever during work hours on a weekday, which I did not expect to see.
- It only takes an hour to do a circuit of the city with walking as the main mode of transport. This made Melbourne seem so much smaller!
- There are so many beautiful buildings that I had never seen before because they are slightly out of the way, down laneways and near the outskirts.
2 LESSONS ABOUT TEAMS
- There doesn't necessarily have to be one person as the clear leader in every situation; everyone can take equal initiative and still function well.
- Being in a team while navigating is a blessing, as a lot of time, stress and wandering around can be saved when someone else realises you're steering in the wrong direction.
1 LESSON ABOUT MYSELF
- I get really easily distracted by pretty/shiny things such as street art and flower shops, which isn't necessarily a bad thing unless you are under a strict time limit.
